Music just fills my soul and blows away all the crud around my heart. I love to sing. I really didn’t think I could until I joined a choir. But if you can talk, you can sing. Just like if you can walk, you can dance. (I just watched take the lead.)
Who knew that harmonizing and blending with other voices could be so therapeutic. It totally lifts my energy. The vibrations seem to penetrate every cell in my body.
Today I found my way back to the choir and the experience was more than I thought it would be. I really enjoyed expressing myself through sound. I enjoyed the camraderie of the group and the Spirit that filled the room. I found my voice today amid the notes and rhythms. I am thankful for music and sound today.
Are you thankful for any melodies you have experienced lately? I would love to hear about them in the comments.

“Music is a moral law. It gives wings to the song, flight to the imagination, soul to the universe, beauty to life and meaning to everything.” Plato, The Republic
