The Joy of Money

I have a friend who insists that bartering is the wave of the future. Everytime she says this, I cringe. Exchanging goods and services works great on a small scale, but I like being able to carry money into a store and come out with things. I don’t want to walk around with 4 cows and 2 sheep to get a sweater.
What is it about money that makes it seem diammetrically opposed to all things spiritual? Why do we feel the need to eliminate it all together? Or at the very least shove it under the mattress (figuratively speaking)?
Money, like everything else in the material realm, is a manifestation of Substance. Yes, Substance as in Consciousness, God. Money is an efficient medium of exchange. It is a tangible reminder to keep your energy flowing. It represents the fruit of your labor. It holds the potential for food, and shelter. It is the gatekeeper for the material realm. No need to worship the manifestation. Worship the Source.
Today I give thanks for money. What are you thankful for?

I’m thankful that my Creator has given me an understanding of the importance of money, in the scheme of things, and has given me the ability to generate it. I’m thankful that I understand that “the love” of money is the root of all evil. Money itself is only a symbol, or as one minister put it, “Kingdom Certificates” that allows us to “barter” in the Kingdom. The Bible speaks about money, in one form or another, more then anyother subject, including love. (Please do your own due diligence to confirm this assertion.) “For where your treasure (money) is, there your heart will be also.” Matt 6:21
Thank you Father

Think about this… there are 2 hens,, one in Australia, the other in China. They both lay an egg. But if you were to buy each of them their price would be significantly different.
Why ?? Dont you think the price of eggs should be the same on the planet?
Money is the medium of exchange of our current system of exchange. However, this system itself has been invented by some nations (west) in a very biased way. It is not a system based on ethics.. it has been invented to keep the rich rich and the poor poor.
Yes barter is going to be the way of the future.. but we wont exchange cows and sheep, only gratitude
Love,
Amit.

Amit, with all due respect, the system was created out of consciousness. Change consciousness, change the system. Eggs vary in cost because of their value in different places. If all of a sudden, they were a highly valued luxury with a perceived lack, the price would go sky high in America. That’s just not the case.
As an example, I told myself that when gas prices hit $3.00/gallon I would find an alternate form of transportation. I was half joking. 6 weeks ago I decided to move within walking distance of my job. 4 weeks after prices went over $3.00. I now walk to work!
Don’t believe the hype!
