Boy does time fly! Today is my 32nd birthday and it also marks a full month on the 3 Step Life Transformation Program. To recap, the program consists of honoring your Spirit, body, and mind. For me that meant meditating, walking, and writing everyday. In the month that passed I walked about 900 minutes, meditated for more than 15 hours, and wrote and published 26 articles on this site. Here are some of the other rewards I am receiving from the program.
- Increased mental clarity. Guidance and instructions from consciousness are clear. The more I follow them and meditate, the clearer they are, and the better the results.
- Making faith based decisions. I have been consciously checking my decisions for motive. I can at least admit to myself when I am doing something because I am afraid.
- Freedom from food obsession. This is the best gift of the whole thing. There is no more filling me up with food when I’m bored or angry or lonely.
- Taking up power walking for breaks rather than napping or snacking. I suddenly want to walk everywhere. I can only say that it’s miraculous because I have a very sedentary lifestyle.
- Better fitting clothes. My clothes are feeling loose, some baggy. It’s always good to feel like I have room.
- Synchronous encounters and events like breadcrumbs on the path to my purpose. I keep meeting people in the blogosphere, within my current circle of friends, and at social gatherings. I hear about the most obscure events that call to me, I go, and I receive an incredibly inspirational message.
- Increased appreciation for time. It passes no matter what, you may as well make a step toward your highest good everyday no matter how small.
- Great bookends for my day. I walk and meditate in the morning which really sets the tone for my day, and I write in the evening which puts me in a receptive space for the evening.
- Waking up earlier. Turns out that if I want to walk and meditate before I go to work, I have to wake up at 4:45 am. I am considering waking earlier to write in the morning as well. The only thing is I don’t want to be rushed when I write, so it’s good in the evening.
One of the things that I don’t have on the list is increased energy. I thought that would be forthcoming. My problem is that I don’t get to bed early enough. I’m spending too much time on the computer. I’m going to work on that this month as I continue the Life Transformation Program.
