I extend a warm welcome to my readers that came from Problogger
This week I participated in another of Problogger’s Writing Project. The theme this time was “How-to”. I submitted the post Achieve Big Audacious Goals The SMART Way. Unfortunately my site was down for about 12 hours this week soon after I submitted to the project. I apologize for the interruption.
There were 343 submissions total. The posts were even better than before and it was difficult to choose just a few. Here are my picks.
How To Keep Your Relationship Healthy With Your Wife - Excellent post about how to treat your woman right. It’s good to see men step up to the touchy feely stuff. Matt and Becky, a husband/wife team, talk about marriage, technology, and faith on this site. Such a neat concept.
How to Feel Good In A Bad Situation - A timely read for me. Jeff has a simple post about how to keep your wits about you in any situation. I am reminded of the first line of the Desiderata, “Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.”
The Inside Scoop on How To Get Published - Extremely informative for an aspiring writer like myself. At first glance you might think the site is strictly about scrapbooking, but with categories like Motivation Mondays, the site is a showcase for living your best life, parenting and a myriad of other topics. Thanks for sharing your experience Tasra.
Ex-Car Salesman Tells All: How to Beat the Auto Dealerships at Their Own Game - Straight from the horses mouth. Great tips to save money and stress in the car buying process. Young and interested in personal finance? This site is an excellent resource that you might connect to.
How to Explain RSS the Oprah Way - I’m back in the Skinny Jeans. I discovered this site during the last writing project. She’s at it again. Plain and simple RSS, without all the techie terms. She even revised the acronym to “Ready for Some Stories”. There’s even an illustration.
Everyday Gifts ?€“ How You Can Show Your Love Without Spending a Dime - 10 Wonderful ways to love up your friends and family. And they don’t cost a dime. Shonnie’s site is filled with insightful ways to nurture and enhance your relationships.

I’m honored by your kind comments. Thanks for stopping by my blog and checking out my tips. I’m thrilled that you were able to take away something valuable and practical. And you’re so right about it being more than scrapbooking, it’s life lessons learned that apply to more than just scrapbookers. Thanks again. Hope to see you again!
