Welcome to the Personal Development Carnival!

I’m always so excited to host this carnival. I read 50+ personal development feeds daily, and I still manage to find a new blogger when I host. It’s also inevitable that I find a profound post by a veteran that I somehow missed in my daily reads. This edition is no different. It’s chock full of everything in the realm of personal development, from spirituality, to health and financial tips. Without further ado, I present to you the Personal Development Carnival.

First, I’ll cash in on a perk of hosting and present my submission for the week. I renewed my commitment to content this week while contemplating whether or not I was on the right track.

I just love reading Craig Harper! However, before reading his feed or blog I have to make sure that I’ve done everything for the day otherwise I’m sure to get a kick in the a$$. The Art of Completion is no different. Head over and read it, but not before you get your sh!t done.

The original host and founder of the Personal Development Carnival, Lyman Reed, presents The Spiritual Atheist posted at Creating a Better Life.

Sania’s site was one of my finds this week. She shares her experience with prayer and discovers that sometimes the answer to prayer is that it changes you.

In an objective critique of the movie the Secret, Charles H. Green argues that it’s poor metaphysics, illogical, and bad capitalism. Before you storm his blog with stones, he explains that it’s a great message that encourages responsibility, but it erroneously places too much emphasis on the outcome. If you’re looking for a balanced opinion, check it out.

Today’s Ten is another newbie (to me anyway). I think this site is neat because, well, the name says it all. You can get a taste in this article about 10 ways to learn something new.

I wish this list was required when I was in college, but it’s not too late. I can still enroll in these essential personal development courses at my local community college or one of the 5 universities in the area. Thanks Ted!
